LIfe is forever changed

 It's been a year since my last post at the beginning of the covid pandemic.  Things have changed, I have changed and so has our world.

Things covid changed:

Masks keep us healthy

Families either got tighter or worse depending where you store your treasures.

I started spiritually deconstruction based on everything that happened with Covid and BLM.

Things that changed about me:

I found out that I have Adult ADHD, being at home just made it worse.  It appears that I was able to mask it well in the work place but when I got home all hell broke loose in my head.

Spiritual deconstruction sucks but it's actually good to back away and see what you actually believe and compare it to the word of God. things that you might need to think about if you plan on doing this;

  • Challenge the Word
  • Know the context it was written under and know the history
  • Look at what the early christians thought

Don't that the bible at face value until you understand these things.

 How America has changed:

I'm GenX so I grew up with a lot of propaganda in my face from Rambo, Red Dawn to spy movies.  I felt that the United States was the best and most awesome place to live.  That we were just a melting pot but we are not. we still have a lot of injustice to stamp out.  It makes me sick to think about all the crap that we have done in the name of the USA.

Life will continue to change as we know it

Do you feel that hole in your chest right now?  Like something is missing and you can't seem to fill it? That's grief, you are grieving right now.  You could be grieving the loss of life or the loss of love, but you are probably grieving for the loss of our way of life.

The last time I felt this way aside from deaths in the family or loss of friendships over something stupid was 9/11/2001.  That was the day that terrorism changed my world, it changed the way we do everything in America and now we are experiencing the same thing from the Coronavirus or Covid-19.

I want to explore my feelings here and the grief that I'm going through and hopefully I can help myself and some of you as well.
